"HARTLEYS" by BAG O' RAGS

Hello again, here's something from Dave and Jo at the Hope and Anchor.

This is a signed copy of the lyrics to a song about Hartleys by Andy De Gruyther and Ulverston folk legends Bag O' Rags.

The band's album was recorded at the Coot on the Tarn Great Urswick and the line up is given as..

Lead Guitar, Mandolin, Banjo – Paul Bryden
  • Vocals, Bass Guitar, Kazoo – David Glen Miller
  • Vocals, Flute, Whistle, Spoons – Andy De Gruyther
  • Vocals, Lagerphone [Zob Stick], Banjo – John Morgan
  • Vocals, Rhythm Guitar – Dave Abbott

If you want to hear the song it's here on youtube, a lovely and atmospheric accapella performance from the LP, set to  a video from Paul Leviston that gives you a tour of some Hartleys pubs past and present.
